Francis Furnishings (Clevedon) Ltd, was formed in 1969, In 1983 the premises in Clevedon, Avon, were sold and the business of Dawes Flooring and Upholstery Ltd, was purchased
.
Dawes Flooring traded from the leased premises at Town Quay Truro, until late 1991, when we moved into a new 2600 sq.ft. building, on Newham Industrial Estate.



Dawes Flooring offers the supply or supply and installation of most types of floorcovering relative to the domestic and commercial market, including floors of distinction for many prestigious clients in Cornwall.

The products offered are subfloor preparations, cork, vinyl sheet and tiles, safety flooring, linoleum, tiles and sheet, wood parkett, wood blocks, wood strips, wood overlay systems, squash courst and gymnasium floors, carpets, carpet tiles and all accessories relative to the above.

Works are carried out for various building contractors and the Company is an approved flooring contractor to Cornwall County Council, Area Health Authorities, Public Sector Government bodies and the Ministry of Defence.
